The Applied Driving Techniques said road safety has never been more important

APPLIED Driving Techniques (ADT) has reported a surge of companies teaming up with them in a bid to achieve higher standards of road safety, operational performance and Duty of Care.

ADT has increased the number of driver workshops to 100, which is up from 30 in previous years. Total training days have also grown annually by more than 25 per cent.

In addition, they have also rolled out a new e-learning package, expanded its international abilities and developed an enhanced monitoring and reporting package for car, van and HGV fleet operators.

ADT has increased the number of driver workshops to 100, which is up from 30 in previous years.

The company has also introduced Riskmapp, which is a web-based portal, designed to support an integrated approach to ensuring legal compliance and managing risk.
ADT’s customers can gain access to essential fleet data, documentation and analysis, and experience full online visibility and control of assessments, grey fleet management, risk audits and licence / document monitoring.

ADT also launched DriveSafe 2015, which is a new study, designed to explore if behavioural profiling can be used by companies and the insurance and fleet sectors to identify potential driving risk. This study is supported by Brake and Allianz, and the research will involve more than 20,000 businesses across the UK.

Meanwhile, ADT’s customer UCB was acknowledged at Brake’s Fleet Safety Awards 201; for the third year running, one of its clients has been accredited for industry best practise and performance.

Director of Applied Driving Techniques, Andy Phillips, commented:
“We are certainly seeing a greater number of organisations looking to enhance employee safety and wellbeing, protect corporate reputation and operate a responsible fleet, which helped us achieve record growth during 2014. With this in mind we have been investing heavily to meet this added demand and we have already secured a number of new partnerships that will commence this year.

“This is expected to double the number of drivers monitored and managed by our risk management offering over the next 12 months.”
