NOT often a leasing company shows partisanship, but ALD Automotive reckons the new Mercedes-Benz Vito is a “game-changer” in the medium van sector.

ALD says it offers an unbeatable package to its fleet customers, backed by Merc’s  comprehensive MobiloVan roadside assistance scheme.

LCV operations manager at ALD Automotive Matt Dale explained: “New Vito’s launch has moved the game forward by a huge leap.

“Previously, the main rivals in this sector were all very similar to each other, but Mercedes-Benz has come up with a product that really stands out against the competition.

“Offering customers a choice of drive configurations is a revolutionary step, and with its superb engines across a wide span of power outputs the Vito can now be tailored to suit a vast array of applications,” he said.

New Vito was launched at the 2015 Commercial Vehicle Show in April.  It comes in three lengths and at three gross weights, and is available as a panel van, a crew van with second row of seats, or a Tourer which can carry a driver and up to eight passengers.
