IF YOU need a hatchback company car or business car, but also want attractive styling, then Alfa Romeo might have just the car for you: the Alfa Romeo Giulietta.

The new Alfa Giulietta goes on sale this summer from £16,995.

The Giulietta range will feature three petrol engines – 1.4 TB 120bhp; 1.4 TB MultiAir 170bhp; and 1750 TBi 235bhp Cloverleaf. And two diesel powerplants – 1.6 JTDM-2 105bhp; and 2.0 JTDM-2 170bhp.

The new Alfa Romeo features many advanced technological features, including emission reducing MultiAir (petrol) and second generation MultiJet (diesel) engines, while start-stop is standard on all models – this improves economy and lowers CO2 emissions.

There will be three high specification trims – Turismo, Lusso and Veloce. While the sporting Cloverleaf model features its own exclusive exterior and interior styling.

Standard equipment on the new Alfa Romeo Giulietta includes air conditioning, electric front and rear windows, Start&Stop, anti-skid VDC, LED front and rear lights, and Alfa Romeo’s DNA technology, which customises the car’s behaviour to suit varying road conditions and driving styles.

The top-of-the-range Alfa Giulietta Cloverleaf features a 1750 TBi 235bhp engine, 18 inch alloys with a dark titanium finish, dark tinted windows, red painted brake calipers and Cloverleaf badging.

The Alfa Romeo Giulietta will be unveiled at the Goodwood Festival of Speed on 2-4 July, where Alfa Romeo will be celebrating its centenary as the featured marque.
