Alphabet’s AlphaElectric programme that concentrates on electric vehicles like the BMW i3 will now be available to SMEs

What is a small fleet leasing specialist?

  • Small fleet leasing specialists provide car and van leasing facilities to small businesses and SME small fleets.
  • In the trade they are known as brokers. In other words they broker a deal between the funding of a new car and the end user – you.
  • Small fleet leasing companies are specialists in finding the best deals on the market – the fleet deals that wouldn’t otherwise be available to small businesses and SMEs.
  • Most leasing brokers adhere to the BVRLA code of conduct.

HEY, good news for all small businesses and SME small fleets that want to lease their company cars.

Top three leasing firm Alphabet is providing a funding channel to a select group of small fleet leasing specialists – known as brokers in the trade – that will expand the range of funding opportunities.

Alphabet says that it wants to be the lender of choice for electric vehicles and prestige models in the SME market.

The company already has an established record in providing premium cars to larger corporate fleets and providing specialist electromobility solutions through its AlphaElectric programme.

Now that expertise is being extended to the SME market.

“Small fleet leasing brokers are a hugely important part of the vehicle rental industry, increasing access to mobility services for thousands of SME organisations nationally.

“Partnering with a select few highly-experienced and approved broker organisations will allow us to provide a greater number of companies with fully-integrated, fit-for-purpose, mobility services – a key objective for Alphabet,” commented Richard Schooling, Alphabet’s chief executive officer.
