OXFORD VEHICLE LEASING (OVL) has launched CarContractHire.com.

OVL says its new contract hire business offers speedy special discounted offers conducted online from start to finish.

Martin Wedge, visionary managing director of CarContractHire.com – he bought the domain name a dozen years ago – and OVL Group (Oxford Vehicle Leasing), explains: “CarContractHire.com is unique in that the contract hire agreement is fully completed online making it quicker and cheaper than competitors.

“The last two years has seen the OVL Group grow by 30% but we continue to want to push the boundaries further and offer more choice to both personal and business customers.

“This alternative contract hire solution will meet a changing demand, particularly for the growing market of women drivers wanting a personal contract hire and sole traders requiring a cost effective solution.

“OVL Group continues to increase its market share but I anticipate CarContractHire.com will quickly become a favourite for those looking for a quick, value-for-money deal who perhaps aren’t concerned about secondary specifications, or aren’t managing a fleet.  We expect CarContractHire.com to be a completely different market to our customers at OVL Group.”

Innovative and quick as it is, CarContractHire.com has had a rather long gestation period, as Martin Wedge explains.

He bought the CarContractHire.com domain in 2003 after a lightbulb moment during a lunch with a colleague, after identifying the future need for a totally online car leasing business. But he realised the market wasn’t ready for a complete online solution then.

Twelve years later, CarContractHire.com has been launched and is currently the only complete online solution for contract hire on the market.
