THE BVRLA Industry Achievement Awards were dished out last night at the BVRLA’s Big Bash dinner on Park Lane at the Hilton Hotel (05 March) with employees from Arnold Clark and ALD Automotive in the spotlight.
Sponsored by automotive management consultancy Landar, theBVRLA Industry Achievement Awards recognise the outstanding performers who participated in BVRLA training or assessments during 2014.
Continuous development is essential to maintain high standards of service
Dominic Wilson of Arnold Clark Car & Van Rental scored the highest pass mark in the 2014 City & Guilds examination, gaining his Rental Operator Skills Certificate with a near-perfect score of 99%.
Claire Auton, Regional Relationship Sales Manager at ALD Automotive, was the top achiever in the BVRLA Fleet Consultancy Programme. She scored 93% overall and gained a Pass with Distinction.
The course requires candidates to submit two written assignments for marking, and is accredited by the Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM).
More than 3,000 individuals have completed the City & Guilds examination since its inception in 1989, while over 100 salespeople have benefitted from the BVRLA’s Fleet Consultancy Programme after its introduction in 2008.
