SEAT has confirmed full UK pricing and specification for its first SUV, Ateca – and launched it straight into business contention with a benefit-in-kind tax rate from 21%.

Temptingly priced from only £17,990 – contributing to a highly competitive true-cost-to-own proposition – the Barcelona-based brand is looking to make quite an impact in the UK’s fast-growing compact SUV business fleet sector.

Ateca is already proving quite a hit among business and private buyers In several key European markets, including France and Germany, where ordering has already opened – even before drivers have got behind the wheel.

It brings a large dose of style, quality and practicality at a price business users will find hard to resist.

Add class-leading connectivity and running costs to rival the best in class, and Ateca is expected to bolster SEAT’s excellent start to the year in terms of business sales.

Keenly priced from £17,990, SEAT’s first SUV undercuts several key rivals, including the Nissan Qashqai by over £500, as well as the Ford Kuga by around £2,000.
