Audi A5 Sportback 2.0 TDI 170 SE
What is it?
AUDI’S model range expands again with a five-door Sportback version of its A5. The Sportback hatch joins the existing Coupe and Cabriolet models in the A5 range. Sitting above the A4 saloon, the Sportback is longer and wider and its hatchback configuration provides more practicality – although boot capacity with the seats up is the same as the saloon; and it’s only a four-seater. Tested here with the 170PS 2.0-litre TDI engine with start/stop fuel-saving technology.

Business Car Manager Road Test Rating
The A5 Sportback is an appealing car for small businesses because its hatchback configuration allows a greater range of uses, easily swapping between business and private modes. The low company car tax diesel is also another compelling reason – but it’s more expensive than an equivalent Audi A4 Avant. Make sure it’s right for you before diving in.Further information
