THE BMW & MINI Business Partnership Programme is clearly in touch with small businesses and SMEs.

When it was first launched in 2010, it had just 4000 registrations at the end of its first year.

And now?

Not only was it voted winner of our Best SME Company Car programme for the second year running this year, by our panel of independent judges from the SME leasing and car finance sector, it’s really beginning to make a mark with small businesses and SMEs who are taking up the special leasing offers and service provided – 2014 finished with 22,200 registrations.

In total, the SME service is predicted to deliver 18% of its cars this year to small businesses with the remaining going to limited businesses.

So what is through Business Partnership Programme and why like the 22,000 plus customers last year, should your next SME company car be financed through it?

Business Partnership Programme also has an industry-leading, dedicated website

In a nutshell,Business Partnership Programme provides compelling rates, plus the knowledge and expertise of a centre’s local Business Development Manager.

Business Partnership Programme also has an industry-leading, dedicated website which is optimised for mobile devices and offers the ability to shortlist and compare offers, along with other useful reference materials, such as the Fleet Hub, which contains useful driver guides.

One of the people pivotal in Business Partnership Programme’s success is Peter Clarke, who became head of business partner programme development for BMW Group Corporate Finance last July.

Peter and his team of three regional managers were responsible for 5,500 of those 22,200 total 2014 units.

Another reason for Business Partnership Programme’s success is the sheer choice of BMW Group Product available on the programme.

Last year, of the total Business Partnership Programme units, BMW is still tops with 22,190 cars supplied, followed closely by MINI with 3,348 units (although MINI demand is set to increase significantly this year, with the first full year of MINI five-door sales). Finally, another growth area, the all-electric market, with BMW’s game-changing i range registered 74 units.

On top of the website and model choice, there’s plenty more.
