THIS category of the Business Car Manager SME Company Car of the Year Awards is all about the manufacturer that has provided the best support to the SME sector.

This year it is BMW with its Business Partnership programme.

SME_Company_Car_of_the_Year_AwardsThere was some stiff competition from the likes of Vauxhall – last year’s winner – and Hyundai but it was BMW’s commitment to the SME market through countless new innovations and a dedication to improve 100% of its dealers that put it ahead.

To improve the buying experience for SMEs BMW has launched new websites and dealer initiatives this year.

For example, all dealers have specific targets for SME sales and get bonuses dependent on hitting them. What’s more, the BMW Corporate Charter ensures that 100% of the dealer network reaches a certain standard of customer service, including first MOT cover, guaranteed workshop availability within three days, and collection and delivery.

Then there’s the new SME-specific website, which was re-launched in 2013 and provides specific guides to BMW models for small fleet managers. There’s also more information than you’ll find on the standard website, allowing discerning business buyers to make the most informed decision they can.

On top of that, BMW also launched another site called Corporate LaunchPad. This allows BMW company car drivers in to an exclusive world of BMW content, which includes information on forthcoming BMW models.
