BMW is the ‘SME Champion Manufacturer’.

BMW won the top award in the inaugural Business Car Manager SME Company Car of the Year Awards 2012 run in association with MAGMA Automotive Services.

The SME Champion Manufacturer title was presented to the car manufacturer which, in the opinion of the judges, provided the best all round blend of company cars and support to the SME sector. And BMW was the stand-out winner.

BMW won more categories than any other manufacturer in the SME Company Car of the Year Awards.

  • Best Company Car for SME drivers:  BMW 320d EfficientDynamics
  • Best Company Car for SMEs – Readers’ Award: BMW 3 Series range
  • Strong representation in the Best SME Company Car Programme

EfficientDynamics is at the heart of BMW’s offering to the SME company car market. This offers low CO2 emissions and reduced company car tax without compromising performance. BMW has been way ahead of the opposition – and the BMW 320d EfficientDynamics is a brilliant example of wrapping up this technology with a low company car tax price tag.

Put another way, a BMW 320d EfficientDynamics is a prestige drive for hatchback levels of company car tax.

But what’s just as important is that the BMW car range is underpinned by the Business Partnership Programme – a dealer-run support system tailored for the small business and SME user that comes with additional benefits.

For example, Business Partnership customers now receive on-demand access to over 1,200 Regus business lounges across the world for 12 months thanks to the Businessworld Gold Card, which provides flexible and mobile working in a professional workspace rather than a noisy coffee shop or at the wheel of your company car.

“As an all-round package, BMW’s offering to the SME company car market place is astonishingly strong, well rounded, and clearly thought out,” said editor Ralph Morton. “BMW fully deserves its title as our first SME Champion Manufacturer.”
