Drive a Maserati…on the water!

It doesn't come much better than this - fast cars and fast boats: the Maserati Drive&Sail Experience
Blog: RALPH MORTON
I’m sure we’ve all heard of fly-drive combos for holidays. But how about this?
A drive and sail experience?
Yup, I’m up for it, although I suspect I don’t qualify as one of Maserati’s special guests to undertake the experience…And here’s why!
The ‘Maserati Drive&Sail Experience’ is an exclusive event dedicated to a selected number of guests, says Maserati. And it starts today from Port Adriano in Mallorca. (I know, it’s getting worse!)
First you get the chance to sail on board the Maserati VOR 70, a 70ft monohull skippered by Giovanni Soldini (twice a winner of the Around Alone event) before having a blast in one of four Maserati road cars.
Take your pick from the new the GranCabrio Sport, the new GranTurismo Sport, the GranTurismo MC Stradale (the only two-seater vehicle in the Maserati range) and the Maserati Quattroporte Sport GTS luxury saloon.
The ‘Maserati Drive&Sail Experience’ then moves to Marina de Ibiza (Ibiza) and Yacht Club de Monaco (Principality of Monaco) for a touch more exclusivity.
In other business car news, the editor will be driving his Audi back home for…err, tea.
