Many fleets who are not currently managing their fuel mileage efficiently will have the opportunity to be evaluated by auditors with expert knowledge and benefit hugely from the advice that will be provided. It is thought that in-depth evaluations of grey fleet will also be made to highlight better opportunities and discover the best energy and cost savings for your business. An audit of grey fleet usage is thought to identify the benefits of rental and leasing as an alternative to reduce CO2 emissions by use of newer, cleaner vehicles.

ESOS business savings overall

UK Government predict ESOS will save up to £2bn across British businesses alone. The audit should result in significant reductions in corporate mileage. Figures for fleets specifically are looking to suggest a 2% reduction for company cars and 1% for vans in energy consumption via the scheme.
