The Volvo XC90 T8 certainly cleans up when it comes to tax relief

Tree stump-pulling XC90 T8 for the tree-hugger

  • BIK busting CO2 emission rating of just 49g/km in a 7-seat SUV;
  • Tuning experts reduce 2-litre Twin Engine CO2 emissions by 10g/km;
  • Fuel economy up to 134mpg;
  • Sports car performance of 0-62mph in 5.6 seconds from combined power of 407hp.

YOU may not be a tree-hugging eco-warrior but as a company car driver you’re going to love driving the new XC90 T8 7-seater luxury SUV while reaping big rewards in tax relief.

With a BIK busting CO2 emission rating of just 49g/km, the new XC90 T8 becomes the go-to set of company car wheels for many user-choosers looking for spacious luxury both for work and leisure.

Initial figures announced had the XC90 2.0-litre T8 a full 10g/km higher than today’s figure. Even so, this made for a mere 9% BIK tax charge on a luxury vehicle costing £63,650, resulting in a meagre £5,729 charge in the first year.

The improvement over the earlier announced figures followed a round of further tuning by Volvo engineers and has seen the drop in CO2 and fuel economy boosted by up to 134.5mpg while also adding horsepower.

Clearly marking itself as a class leader the luxury 7-seat SUV can deliver 26 miles of pure electric range, 0-62mph in 5.6 seconds and provide combined power of 407hp.
