On top of winning the Small Fleet Leasing Awards again, Fleet Alliance is busy promoting environmentally-friendly motoring for its clients.

FLEET Alliance knows a thing or two about car leasing.

It certainly should do. The company was named our Small Fleet Leasing Company of the Year for the second successive year in the Business Car Manager Small Fleet Leasing awards.

And part of that Fleet Alliance success has been from pioneering environmentally-friendly motoring for SME businesses.

Their efforts to assist clients to “go green” have not gone unnoticed; they have announced some statistics that are not only innovative, but have helped their customers save money as well as the environment.

The Fleet Alliance going green guide

  1. Over a period of six years Fleet Alliance has reduced its clients’ CO2 emissions by 13%, which represents a total reduction of 2 billion grams
  2. As well as promoting electric vehicles, Fleet Alliance has also recently added two Nissan Leafs – the world’s bestselling electric vehicle – to its own fleet. This will help Fleet Alliance to promote the benefits of running an EV via a series of driver reviews and also save company money when it comes to running costs
  3. Fleet Alliance has partnered with Skypark in providing the first electric car charging point in the Skypark visitors’ car park. They are supporting the running costs of the charging point as part of their ongoing initiative to encourage the take up of electric vehicles
  4. Fleet Alliance has also introduced the Lexus CT Hybrid into its own company car policy which has CO2 emissionss of just 82 g/km – equivalent to a company car tax band of 11%
  5. Fleet Alliance has also partnered with Energy Saving Trust (EST) to offer its clients ways to save energy, by offering advice on best practice (including hybrids, electric vehicles and using personal cars on business), along with the offer of efficient driver training – so more money can be saved.
