Ford Vignale for premium sector

  • 2,000 sales expected in 2016
  • All built to order
  • 70% of volume expected to be sold through contract hire and leasing
  • Pricing from £29,345

THE Ford Mondeo Vignale – as well as the Vignale concept and forward plan – will be shown to contract hire and leasing teams in early January 2016 at the Henry Ford Academy, Daventry.

Andy Barratt, Ford’s managing director, said he expected 70% of Vignale volume to be sold through the contract hire and leasing channel.

He added that next year he expected Ford to sell 2,000 Vignale models.

Vignale offers customers a premium level of specification as well as a concierge service at FordStores – including free car washes and like-for-like car replacement during a service brought to a customer’s door or workplace. All Vignale models will be built to order.

Vignale pricing is within the bands occupied by Titanium and Titanium X models, starting at £29,345.

Currently there are 55 FordStores (those dealers offering Vignale, Mustang and RS) – with a plan to grow to 58 by early next year and on up to 80. The new FordStores will be required to sell a growing range of models as Ford presents Vignale to the market.

“Vignale is not a one-trick product,” confirmed Andy. “So you can expect more in the future.”

The S-MAX Vignale has already been announced but expect versions of Galaxy and of the two Ford SUVs, Kuga and Edge.
