What is it?

New compact 4×4 designed to answer the concerns of those who hate 4x4s. Looks rounded and friendly. Feels much like a normal estate car to drive.

What’s hot?

  • Fuel economy claimed to be as good as a regular family car
  • Diesel engine is smooth, quiet and very responsive
  • Ride and handling are extraordinarily good for a 4×4
  • Lots of equipment, extremely well built (in UK)
  • Versatile, roomy, MPV-like interior

What’s not?

  • Strange styling with gappy nose, curious rear side windows
  • No match for a Freelander off road
  • It
