John Pryor
John Pryor: new chairman of ACFO, the organisation that represents fleet managers

JOHN Pryor has been elected the new chairman of ACFO, the leading UK representative body for fleet decision-makers.

John, who is fleet and travel manager at fashion retailer Arcadia Group, takes over from Damian James, who has stepped down following a change of job roles.

John Pryor will be assisted by the fleet manager for Barclays, Caroline Sandall, who continues as ACFO’s deputy chairman.

“I am delighted to become ACFO’s chairman. It is vital for me and other people who have fleet responsibility to be able to discuss key issues with like-minded colleagues who collectively have a wealth of knowledge and experience,” commented John Pryor on his appointment.

“In organisations the job of the fleet manager can often be a lonely existence as fellow employees do not have practical knowledge or experience relating to managing vehicles. Therefore, ACFO fulfils a fundamental role in enabling members to exchange ideas and information.”
