  • Claims of daring design meeting advanced ride and handling performance;
  • Category-breaking Q30 just two years after concept launched;
  • World premiere set for 15 September at Frankfurt Motor Show;
  • Infiniti Q30 to be built in Britain

GOODY! If you haven’t got enough choices for the company car park, here’s another to entice you.

Soon to be unveiled just two years after the concept’s first appeared and British built – it’s the Infiniti Q30 Premium Active Compact.

The wraps come off for its world premiere at the International Frankfurt Motor Show in September as Infiniti hopes to make inroads into the ever growing demand for classy crossovers.

Typical rivals include the Audi A3 and BMW 1 Series.

The Q30 Active Compact underwent final testing and development in Europe. It will be built in Sunderland meaning the UK becomes the fourth country on three continents to build Infiniti vehicles.

Infiniti claims the Q30 represents a category-breaking vehicle concept developed for customers seeking urban individuality combining performance with crafted trims and expressive interiors reflecting the striking exterior design.

“Design is a key pillar of the Infiniti brand – and the new Infiniti Q30 Active Compact perfectly embodies this approach,” said Infiniti President Roland Krueger. “The Q30 Active Compact delivers the distinctive design, the driving dynamics and the individuality that our customers expect of an Infiniti vehicle. With our first ever entry in the compact car segment, we continue the product offensive and provide additional options for our discerning customers.”
