LEX AUTOLEASE, the UK’s leading fleet management and funding specialist, has extended its sole-supply contract with Stagecoach for a further three years.
Lex Autolease has been providing vehicles to the Stagecoach transport group on a contract hire basis since 2005.
The new contract will see Stagecoach using vehicles with improved CO2 efficiency as part of its wider strategy to reduce carbon emissions across its UK bus business.
The Stagecoach fleet of company vehicles consists of cars and vans, including various hybrid vehicles such as the
- Lexus CT,
- Volvo V60 and
- Toyota Prius.
Other manufacturers on the fleet include
- Vauxhall,
- BMW,
- Mercedes and
- Ford.
Meanwhile, Lex Autolease will also continue to provide accident management services, giving Stagecoach access 24 hours a day to a specialist helpdesk team. Stagecoach also receives free courtesy cars for the duration of repairs, and costs are monitored by a team of qualified assessor engineers.
