AFTER more than 50 years, Ford’s iconic Mustang is finally available to order officially in the UK, with prices starting at £28,995 for the 2.3 EcoBoost.
On top of the 310bhp 2.3-litre EcoBoost, Ford are also offering an even more powerful 412bhp 5.0-litre V8 GT, both versions are available in fastback or convertible bodystyles.
To coincide with opening the order book for the Mustang in the UK, Ford has launched a new online configurator so customers can build their own and review pricing. The app, which works by augmented reality, enables customers to select their bodystyle, exterior colour, alloy wheel options and even view their chosen car in the setting of their choice.
In addition, users can experience realistic engine sounds and share photos of their own virtual Mustangs.
First models are expected to reach their lucky buyers by late summer.
