The new SEAT Exeo saloon will cost from £17,740.
The Exeo goes on sale in April 2009.
There will be the choice of Exeo S, SE, Sport and range-topping SE Lux trim levels.
And three engines: two 2.0-litre turbodiesels with either 143PS or 170PS; and one petrol 2.0-litre 200PS TSI model.
The 143PS diesel Exeo has 51.4mpg economy and 143g/km CO2 emissions. This gives it a business car tax banding of 19%.
Standard specification includes dual zone climate control, alloy wheels, fog lamps, and all-round electric windows.
Exeo SE spec includes rear parking sensors, automatic lights and wipers, and leather steering wheel and gearknob.
Exeo Sport gets sports suspension, sports seats and 18 inch alloys.
SE Lux Exeo includes black leather upholstery and bi-xenon headlights.
