Welcome to Business Car Manager

The rising cost of fuel has been recognised by HMRC. From 01 January its advisory fuel rates increase by 1p per mile. Your staff will rejoice; your FD may be less thrilled. The rates will be reviewed again in six months’ time.

If you or your staff plan taking the car abroad for a skiing trip, make sure they comply with European regulations – see story below. And, as it’s Christmas, we have a few items to celebrate the festive season. There’s our Christmas road test: Sam Hardy puts on his best black tie to drive 007’s latest company car. And Santa’s come early thanks to the Guy Salmon Prestige Rental reader offer on a MINI Cooper S rental. I wish you all a happy Christmas and prosperous new year.
