Welcome to Business Car Manager

April’s Common Commencement Date means a slew of new regulation is hitting small businesses right now. Among them the Corporate Manslaughter Act. It makes businesses responsible for all business car travel – irrespective of car ownership. We have some practical advice from DFM’s Paul Harrop below, while our lead story highlights the growing issue of businesses being prosecuted under the Road Safety Act – thanks to the actions of their staff.

Finally, we have two road tests at very opposite ends of the motoring spectrum: the BMW M5 and Mazda 2. However, they are united by a common feature: in the road test table there’s now a predicted value after three years’ ownership. This way you can budget for the expected resale value. All new road tests will carry this information. I hope you find it useful.
