New MINI arriving

THERE'S a new MINI on the way with four passenger doors, a big rear hatch... and four-wheel drive. The new MINI model will be called the Countryman - like those wooden-clad Minis from the sixties - and will drive the MINI brand into an all-new crossover style market. Is it one of the many new cars this year - like the Mercedes E-Class estate - to pull us further out of recession? Let's hope so. However, the banks aren't making life easy. HSBC has pulled out of supplying contract hire to small businesses. But that shouldn't stop you looking at great value deals elsewhere - as our Volvo story proves. So here's to a recession beating 2010.
