There’s more legislation compliance this month. For accounting periods starting 01 May, the basis on which VAT is calculated on the road fuel scale charge has changed. It’s now based on CO2 emissions – just like company car tax.
The other piece of legislation is the new Health Act. Business cars and business vans in Wales and Northern Ireland have been smokefree since April. English businesses must comply from July – a month away. The legislation also affects private cars on company business. Are you ready for the legislation?
