NEXUS, the leading provider of vehicle rental management for businesses in the UK, is making sure it stays on top.

The company has launched a number of new initiatives to bolster the performance of suppliers.

As ever at Nexus, it is underpinned by the company’s IRIS rental management software.

At the heart of the new programme is a series of Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), to help improve the supply chain.

Using the IRIS rental management platform, Nexus suppliers can manage their own development, based on Nexus-set KPIs and SLAs set by Nexus.

Suppliers can login to the IRIS platform and view their KPI scores in real-time, providing them with a clear picture of their performance based on a number of factors including how well the supplier has met delivery terms, how well they have managed any disputes with customers, and  how they continue to improve their service.

Nexus says the system, controlled by IRIS, createa a process that proactively develops its suppliers rather than acting reactively.

Nexus has more than 150 vehicle rental suppliers from over 1750 rental locations in the UK.
