New TT - better driving dynamics

Audi TT 2.0T FSI Coupe

What is it?

All-new version of Audi’s sports car.

What's hot?

  • Fantastic handling and ride, much improved on the original TT
  • New car has an aluminium spaceframe body – not just a rebodied Golf
  • Superb engine from Golf GTI gives sparkling acceleration
  • Build quality is solid, with no squeaks and rattles
  • Still recognisably an Audi TT - with new, more aggressive Audi face

What's not?

  • Interior is more ‘corporate’ than the old model
  • Lost funky aluminium detailing in exchange for basically an A3 dashboard
  • Styling less ‘designed’ than the old model's concept look
  • New Audi look more macho, so TT may have different appeal

Something of the original TT spirit has been lost in terms of styling, but exceptional on-road dynamics more than make up for this.
