Breakdown experts Green Flag has launched a new pre-booking service that will be handy for business owners and drivers in a hurry.

You can pre-book the breakdown recovery so you do not have to wait around.

Green Flag says drivers whose cars break down at work or at home can get on with their daily lives with minimal disruption.

Research undertaken by Green Flag revealed that 37% of drivers who have broken down in the past two years did so at home. In such situations, the breakdown becomes a nuisance rather than needing to be rescued – and they are happy to make alternative arrangements rather than wait around.

Dan Robinson, head of Green Flag, said: “Many times motorists find they aren’t stranded but they still need to get on with their busy schedule. If you break down at home but can get to work by train or bus then it is much better to get on with your day, knowing you have booked an appointment for when you return from work.”

Robinson continued: “The research showed that 52% of people thought breaking down was inconvenient but manageable. The pre-booking service has been designed so that the 82% that were even slightly inconvenienced have a better experience next time they breakdown.”
