FIRST seen as concept in 2012, the more estate-like Porsche Panamera Sport Turismo is finally a production reality and has made its debut at the Geneva Motor Show.
Based on the latest Panamera, the change over the standard hatch is obvious from the back, with the Sport Turismo’s more upright proportions. This is still a clever Porsche though, with an active wing forming part of the rear spoiler, that flicks out and can generate up to 50 kg of downforce when needed.
The more estate-like shape makes for the most practical version of the Panamera yet. Boot space jumps 25 litres to 520 litres and, previously just a four-seater, the Sport Turismo adds an extra third-seat in the back.
Could the Sport Turismo be better looking than the standard hatch? You can make up your own mind, but it’s available to order now, with the entry-level Panamera 4 Sport Turismo priced at £73,017.
Also making its show debut at Geneva is the Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid.
