Rental company splashes out with the RNLI

Daily rental company Europcar is re-launching its agreement with the Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI) charity.

A new three-year deal provides 40,000 RNLI volunteers with access to daily rental vehicles.

These daily rental cars will support the charity workers. And help them reach remote coastal areas.

Europcar will also provide the RNLI with longer term vehicle rentals.

“Our volunteers are united by a willingness to commit time and energy to a cause about which they are passionate,” commented Steve Wallington, business services manager, RNLI.

“The least we can do is ensure they travel safely and securely. This is critical, especially in some of the more isolated locations. This is where we really value Europcar’s local knowledge, the size of its fleet and the flexibility offered by its delivery and collection services.”

To reach lifeboat stations quickly, RNLI volunteer crews will maker rental reservations through secure RNLI regional microsites.

The microsites will also provide the RNLI with detailed information about rental usage and costs.
