BRISTOL vehicle solutions specialists BluePoppy have scored on the profile-raising sporting front with a deal backing Bristol Rovers.

With colours complementing the strip of the club back in the Football League, BluePoppy’s logo stands prominently on the players’ shorts – to the delight of BluePoppy’s MD Andrew Starr as the team brings in winning scorelines.

Andrew is pictured with Bristol Rovers’ scorers Matty Taylor and Jermaine Easter sporting the BluePoppy shorts.

The Bristolian said: “With TV coverage it helps to stand out and raise our profile both locally and nationally, which is just how we operate.”

He said that BluePoppy had been involved with the club for some times, introduced through a member of his staff, and helped provide vehicles to both directors and support staff as well as belonging to the Bristol Rovers 1883 sponsorship club.

It was through this club, an affiliation of about 90 businesses, that they were one of five selected for publicity with the display areas being the home shirt, away shirt, stadium, and pitch-side hoardings.

Andrew said: “This involvement with the club and other local businesses helps to raise awareness of our impartial and independent consultative approach that structures products accordingly – a relationship that builds trust for a long-term solidarity rather than a quick deal.

“We focus on B2B but are increasingly involved more in personal contract hire and cash-for-car options with covering features and other incentives as a one-stop shop.”
