I DON’T know whether you saw this article published this morning on air quality? I picked it up off the BBC’s website: Call to tackle pollution ‘role in 50,000 early deaths’.

The article reports on a Commons Environmental Audit Committee air quality report saying that Britain had not done enough to tackle air pollution and that it was having a detrimental effect on health.

The main cost of air pollution arises from the adverse health effects on people, the report said, estimating the UK could save
