Small business traders - have made use of Time to Pay scheme

Small business owners: have found far more support from HMRC than from the banks says Tim Rosser

Business Car Manager: Editor’s Blog

TIM ROSSER responds to blog 461 – Paying VAT online on time, and having time to pay your tax:

We are a firm of business turnaround specialists specialising in the SME sector. Over the last couple of years our experience is that HMRC has offered far more sympathy and, of course, support to beleaguered UK small businesses than the banks.

The ‘Time to Pay’ scheme as outlined in Ralph’s previous blog is a critical component of this assistance. It may well be significantly trimmed, or even cut out altogether in next week’s emergency Budget. In which case what do cash-strapped businesses do?
