Honda CR-Vs become rapid response vehicles

I notice that the Scottish Ambulance Service has become a fan of the Honda CR-V. Which could be good news if you require emergency services in the glens, highlands and fens of Scotland.

The CR-V should be able to reach you in most situations. And with 43.5mpg fuel economy I guess the running cost aspect should please the traditionally parsimonious Scots well, too.

I had a quick chat with Michael Jackson – the general manager of Scottish Ambulance Service’s fleet department. He agreed about the economy:
