BUSINESS mobility specialist Alphabet has appointed Martin Quail as its new chief commercial officer.

Quail brings with him a wealth of automotive and partnership experience to Alphabet.

He previously worked for National Express, where he was executive director for Business Development, while prior to that Martin worked in the leasing industry with Interleasing and ACL (formerly part of Standard Chartered).

He was also one of the founding team for technology start-up company, OASIS Global Systems which automated service, maintenance and repair authorisation and invoicing for the UK automotive industry and was corporate partnerships director at the RAC for nearly eight years, leading the RAC’s ‘business to business’ division.

Martin Quail said:

“With changing demands from customers in terms of their business mobility requirements, there is huge potential and opportunities for a forward thinking, progressive company like Alphabet.

“With our passionate team, an unparalleled range of mobility solutions and an absolute focus on understanding and meeting the needs of our customers, I am looking forward to achieving great things as well as having some fun along the way.”

Richard Schooling, Alphabet CEO, added: “With Martin’s knowledge, connections and wealth of experience he understands the commercial challenges and opportunities for Alphabet.

“His background in creating commercially successful partnerships was a deciding factor in identifying Martin as the right man for us. Equally he is the perfect fit for Alphabet’s entrepreneurial, customer-oriented culture.

“His role as chief commercial officer will be fundamental in propelling Alphabet forward as the UK’s leading provider of Business Mobility solutions.”

Martin replaces Paul Hollick who left Alphabet recently to join TMC.
