Alphabet Partner is proving a bit hit with customers

BUSINESS mobility company Alphabet, announced today it has delivered over 1,000 vehicles via Alphabet Partner, its Broker programme.

Out of the 1,000 vehicles delivered, almost 5% were EVs (electric vehicles) and just under 10% were LCVs (light commercial vehicles).

All 34 brokers utilised each of five of Alphabet’s key funding products:

  • Contract hire
  • Finance lease
  • Contract purchase
  • Personal contract purchase (PCP)
  • Personal contract hire (PCH)

The Broker channel is overseen by Gavin Davies, Head of Indirect Sales, and provides SMEs with access to Alphabet’s fleet management and advanced mobility solutions, including their full suite of funding. Since the launch of Alphabet Partner on 30 September 2014, Alphabet has experienced a great uptake of product demand from customers, with an average of 333 vehicles delivered each month.

Central to the success of the Alphabet Partner channel is ‘icon’; this bespoke IT system has been designed alongside the Brokers with the aim of supporting them through all stages of the sales lifecycle.

The fact we’ve managed to secure over 1,000 deliveries, within the first three months of launching the programme, is a real testament to the value of the new channel

Gavin Davies said;

“The fact we’ve managed to secure over 1,000 deliveries, within the first three months of launching the programme, is a real testament to the value of the new channel and the quality of our Brokers. Being a newcomer in a well-established marketplace can present its challenges, however, we’ve demonstrated that we are a credible and reputable entrant, who should be taken seriously.

“We’ve invested a lot in to our Broker channel, and will continue to do so over the next few years. In the space of a few month’s we’ve already managed to deliver a broad range of multi-make vehicles, including healthy numbers of EVs and LCVs. However, this is only the start of things to come.

“This was never a short-term initiative for us; we’ve entered into a three year agreement with our brokers and can only expect the volume of deliveries to continue to grow as the channel matures.”
