AUDI is offering kit-laden special versions of the current A3 Cabriolet as it approaches the end of its life – and there’s plenty to tempt the company car buyer in search of creature comforts.
The Audi A3 Cabriolet Sport Final Edition replaces the Sport model but adds leather upholstery, front seat heating, rear parking sensors, automatic headlight and wiper activation, cruise control and a Bluetooth mobile phone interface.
S line Final Edition models replace the S line but get new wheels with a five-segment spoke design, full Vienna leather upholstery in place of fabric and leather, as well as xenon plus headlights with LED daytime running lamps, DVD-based satellite-navigation, Audi Music Interface iPod connection and a BOSE sound system.
Prices range for the Final Edition models ranges from £23,775 to £30,615 – the base A3 cabriolet, which starts at £21,435, will continue to be available during the run-out period.
Several petrol and diesel engines are offered. The 1.6 TDI offers the lowest emissions at 114g/km; a Sport Final Edition model fitted with that engine has a P11D value of £25,170 and will land a forty per cent taxpayer with a monthly company car tax bill of £134.25.
