Audi A4 launches with L23,940 price tag

The new Audi A4 range is now on sale.

Prices start at L23,940 for the Audi A4 SE 2.0 TDi diesel, the key business car in the new range.

The new Audi A4 features the longest wheelbase in its class – 2808mm – for improved cabin comfort.

A series of advanced features include Audi Drive Select – the ability to tailor accelerator response, gearchanges and steering settings to individual preferences.

There will be four engines on offer initially:

  • 143PS 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbo diesel
  • 190PS 2.7-litre V6 turbo diesel
  • 240PS 3.0-litre V6 turbo diesel
  • 265PS 3.2-litre V6 FSI petrol

In March the range will be expanded with a 160PS 1.8 TFSI petrol engine. The A4 1.8 TDSI will lower the price entry point to L22,590.

SE specification includes 17 inch alloy wheels; radio/CD player with mp3 capability and 6.5 inch colour display; rear parking sensors; and three-zone climate control.

In April the performance-oriented S line trim will be available to order for May delivery.

The estate Avant model will follow in the summer.
