Verdict
This is a good all-round freshen-up for the A6.
The styling is a little sharper, the body a little lighter, the CO2 outputs a little better.
The changes are all evolutionary rather than anything evolutionary, but that is in line with a premium product and maintenance of the outgoing car’s residual value.
With the new A6 Audi has not performed an overtaking manoeuvre, but it has given the car the means to stay up with the others in the business chase as a highly credible member of the German big three.
