Fast, polished and compact sports saloon

Business Car Manager verdict

The Audi S3 saloon comes at you as a fast, polished, compact four-door sports saloon, with all the high grade presentation we’ve come to expect from Audi.

Put simply, it looks and feels a top quality item.

The S3 formula is already pretty well set in three/five-door forms. This classical three-box saloon shape give you yet another option – and a boot – and reputedly a bit more space over the five-door.

For the business user, the Audi S3 is about on par with the Mercedes CLA 250 4MATIC on costs, which are unquestionably at the premium end of the spectrum. In approximately the same class, the BMW M135i is the purer driving machine, and more fun.

But this handsome S3 saloon is still a highly tempting choice. Effortlessly quick and with stand out finish throughout, it adds yet another string to Audi’s bow.
