Apple’s revolutionary new iPhone will now integrate with most Audi models.

Audi has been working with Apple to ensure compatibility. All Audis equipped with optional GSM phone preparation and bluetooth will accept the iPhone.

Alongside standard hands-free functions, the mobile phone preparation supports: signal strength display; transfer of the user’s number directory to the car’s infotainment system.

In Audi A5, Audi A6, Audi A8 and Audi Q7 models equipped with the optional Audi Music Interface, the iPhone’s music files can also be played back through the in-car audio system.

The in-dash monitor displays track titles, artist names, and playlists. Occupants can navigate through these as they would through their iPod music player.
