AUTOMOTIVE Leasing has won a three-year NHS Blood and Transplant (NHSBT) vehicle supply tender, continuing a key supplier role it has performed for the past 18 years.

It has been a key supplier to NHSBT since 1997, and currently provides more than 200 vehicles to the special division of the NHS. In particular, Automotive Leasing provides rapid response vehicles that safely transport blood and blood products to their recipients, alongside a small number of cars. The vehicles are fitted with cooling systems for vital components, such as the tissue and stem cell samples.

As part of this new agreement with NHSBT, Automotive Leasing has also secured an additional order for 60 commercial vehicles including Transit and Connect vans as well as specialist refrigerated vehicles to keep blood and other blood products viable for transfusion.
