BCA re-opens in Tewkesbury

Auction company BCA is re-opening for business in Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire.

This follows the temporary closure for repair and refurbishment as a result of severe flood damage last year.

The auction centre will open in the week commencing 21 April. The first sale at the refurbished BCA Tewkesbury will be held on Friday 25 April 2008 at 10.00am.

BCA will donate the proceeds of the first car sold to raise money for the leading local community flood relief fund. The proceeds will go to those residents and members of the local community most disadvantaged by the floods.

BCA’s small business specialist, Simon Henstock, commented: “While we are delighted to have our Tewkesbury centre back in business, we are acutely aware that many residents are not so lucky and have yet to return to their homes.

“We think it appropriate that the first car we sell is donated by us with all the proceeds going to those local charities who have provided essential help to local residents following the floods.”
