Business Car Manager Road Test Rating

Sales to date of BMW’s 1 Series, averaging globally over 300,000 units a year, indicate clearly that for the majority of business and private users alike, the allure of the BMW badge more than offsets shortcomings in the car itself. And are those shortcomings really so serious?

BMW’s own research suggests that only a minority of BMW 1 Series users are even aware of the enthusiast-driven arguments over whether front- or rear- wheels should be driven.
