KIA has been dropping a few hints about its new third-generation Sorento SUV.
The company is promising quite a jump forward in terms of style and quality over the current Kia Sorento, which was itself a big improvement on the original.
Teaser pictures released, hint at a much sleeker vehicle than the current Kia Sorento, with the promise of a lower roof-line, a higher waist-line and a more muscular stance, as well as the latest interpretation of the company’s now characteristic “tiger” grille.
Several of Kia’s design studios around the world had a hand in the exterior design but the new Kia Sorento’s interior styling has been led by the company’s team in Frankfurt.
Among the treats being promised for the new Kia Sorento, are soft-touch materials, a big infotainment screen and a bold, flowing dash design.
The new Kia Sorento will be unveiled in Korea later this month and European customers will get their first chance to see it at the Paris Motor Show in October.
