Company car tax is £66 a month for a 20% tax payer – good going for a car this size

What’s hot

  • Smart styling stands out from the people carrier crowd.
  • It’s bigger on the inside (than the last model).

Very clear infotainment system is part of a high spec interior
  • 105g/km of CO2 for such a big vehicle is impressive and reaps big benefits for company car tax and road tax.
  • Headline 70.6mpg economy good for reducing fuel costs.
  • Flexible seating allows nine foot loads or six passengers.
  • Handling is safe if uninvolving while ride quality pretty good.
  • Equipment levels for the most part are high.
  • Excellent and clear navigation and infotainment system.
  • Surprisingly high standard of fit and finish.

What’s not

  • Styling is bold and may not be to everybody’s taste.
  • Some plastics in lower parts of the interior are rather hard and brittle.
  • ETG6 semi-auto gearbox option is notchy and slow.
  • Automatic option only available on thirstier 150PS engine.
  • Performance levels won’t set any pulses racing.
  • Roof rails and parking sensors absent on lower spec models.
