The best of both worlds? The benefit of leasing with the option of owning at the end

Using a Drivewise by Network car on business

  • Make sure you have business use insurance included on your policy – see Classes of use for car insurance
  • Keep a record of your business mileage
  • You can get reimbursed for business mileage in your personal car using the tax-free AMAPs of 45p per mile for the first 10,000 miles, 25p thereafter
  • If your employer doesn’t pay you the full AMAP rate, you can use MAR (Mileage Allowance Relief) to claim the difference on your tax return

THINKING about opting out of your company car scheme, or need a car only for private use or fed up of paying company car tax?

No problem, as Drivewise by Network might just be the answer!

How, you might ask? Well, according to Network, it gives you all the benefits of leasing, being easy and cost-effective – but with the option of owning the car at the end of the lease period if you desire.

Drivewise starts off as a vehicle lease, so you get all the benefits of working with one of the largest fleet management companies in the business. For you this equals a large choice of models, all with low deposit figures and the option to get a new car as often as every two years.

Road tax is also included for the first 12 months, after which Network will continue to arrange tax, but at additional cost.
