Using a Drivewise by Network car on business
- Make sure you have business use insurance included on your policy – see Classes of use for car insurance
- Keep a record of your business mileage
- You can get reimbursed for business mileage in your personal car using the tax-free AMAPs of 45p per mile for the first 10,000 miles, 25p thereafter
- If your employer doesn’t pay you the full AMAP rate, you can use MAR (Mileage Allowance Relief) to claim the difference on your tax return
