Driving tips for winter weather conditions

Winter: extra care needed

By Frank Reynolds, small business specialist, National Car Rental

For business drivers needing to brave the frost bitten roads to make business calls.

Or drivers facing the prospect of snow fall, gale force winds, and lashing rain, it’s best to make sure you’re fully prepared.

Because the winter Christmas break can leave you forgetting that roads are particularly dangerous at this time of year.

Poor weather conditions, reduced visibility and irate motorists can add further strain to business driving.

If you follow these top tips, it should help make any business trips as stress-free as possible.

And remember, if conditions do look as if they will seriously deteriorate, it’s best practice to cancel and re-schedule the meeting.
