When you see it, you think professional, you think modest, which is what many of us look for when we are looking for our fleet of cars.

Mazda6’s engine – three choices

For businesses, it is important that you know all your options and when it comes to cars, this can be tricky as there are usually a variety of engines to choose from for each model of car and understanding which engine is best for your needs can be tricky. So we are going to cover three engines for the Mazda6. – the cheapest, greenest and fastest to give you a basic idea about what is one offer.

The cheapest option is the Mazda6 2.0 SE edition. It has a four-cylinder 2.0-litre petrol engine paired with a manual gearbox. It develops 145 bhp, which further allows it to have a top speed of 129mph. It accelerates from 0-60 mph in 9.5 seconds, and is suitable for cruising on the motorway as well as in the city and town. With regards to fuel efficiency, this Mazda6 model has a combined fuel economy of 51.4 mpg, an extra urban fuel economy is 61 mpg and an urban fuel economy of 40 mpg.

The greenest model may be the most suitable model for business because of the low running costs. The greenest model is the Mazda6 2.2d SE. It comes with a four-cylinder, turbocharged 2.2-litre diesel engine producing 150 bhp. It has a top speed of 131 mph and accelerates from 0-60 mph in 9.1 seconds.

More importantly for this model, it has a combined fuel economy of 68.9 mpg, making the running costs for this car cheap. It also has an extra urban fuel economy of 76 mpg, ensuring you are good for long distance, motorway journeys. It also has an urban fuel economy of 58 mpg.

Whilst the fastest model may not be appropriate for businesses, it is worth knowing what is on offer. The fastest model is the 2.2d Sport Nav. It has a four-cylinder turbocharged 2.2-litre diesel engine producing 175 bhp. It has a top speed of 139 mph and it sprints from 0-60 mph in 7.9 seconds, making it an excellent motorway cruiser as it gets up to the right speeds quickly.

When it comes to fuel efficiency, this Mazda6 has a combined fuel economy of 62.8 mpg, an urban fuel economy of 51 mpg and an extra urban fuel economy of 72 mpg, making it fast and has relatively low running costs.

Mazda6’s roomy interior

Inside the Mazda6, you will find a very nice place to sit with a well-built dashboard and overall interior. In the middle of the dash, you get a seven-inch infotainment screen surrounded by conventional buttons and is fairly simple to use. All the cars have Bluetooth connection as expected and the models with sat-navs have both 2D and 3D maps and free updates.

With regards to your driving position, your seat is low in the cabin and is fully adjustable to ensure you get the perfect driving position.

Passenger space in the Mazda6 is generous in both the front and the back. You get plenty of legroom and headroom in the rear, allowing your passengers to stretch out on long journeys, particularly in the front. The car is wide enough for you for you to sit three adults in the rear comfortably. In the boot, you get a capacity of 483 litres.

Mazda6 for performance

If you are looking for a business saloon to drive that is fun, the Mazda6 is just such a car. The Mazda6 allows you to throw it into a corner and still remain in total control thanks to the plentiful amount of grip. There is also minimal body roll through the corners giving you further confidence.

The ride is relatively smooth, absorbing most bumps, except the very large ones. The steering is accurate and direct, meaning you can place it wherever you want on the road and it will follow your commands. This car’s performance is excellent for city driving and long cruises on the motorway, making it a great all-rounder for businesses to use.

For those of you looking to get a single vehicle or a fleet of cars like the Mazda6 for your business, consider car finance as the way to go.  It is very easy to finance cars for business use and you can choose a fleet of the same car or a variety of cars dependent upon your needs.
